I ordered a new motor for the dishwasher (tech said it was bad), and after pulling the old one out, I installed the new one. I then started it, and there was water leaking out from the motor area. Is there any tips on how to install the motor correctly? When I pulled the new motor back out, it looked like the seal (rubber gasket on the motor) was not properly in place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Apply a thin coat of silicon grease to the o-ring or some dishwashing det. so it slides in easier make sure the motor catches on all the tabs when twisting it on

Thank you! The plastic housing has two tabs, while the motor looks like it has space for four tabs. Normal? When I installed it before, the two tabs were connected, and there was a 1/4 inch gap where the bolt went in. After the bolt was tightened down, the gap went away. Just want to make sure I'm doing this the right way.
