my dryer will not heat and the timer does not move, 3 hrs later my clothes were still wet and the timer never moved off the setting that i had put it on what could be wrong and what part(s) shoud i get

you need a heat element or a thermal the timer wont advance because it is thermastat controled and untill the thermastat opens it doesn't put power to the timer motor

ok how will we know which one it is, the dryer still runs but blows all cold air..
