Have a Whirlpool LHA6800N1 with a wigwag-type transmission. Washing machine won’t agitate. - Just replaced the Wigwag & plungers - brand new. - While hooking up new one, found the yellow wire severed, and I installed a brand new section of wire. However, unit still will not shift into Agitate. Reversed the red/yellow wires, and the 2nd solenoid works fine, so obviously there is no signal travelling over the yellow wire. - How do I test the yellow wire? Is this a “live” wire during agitate cycle? If so, what should voltage be? Assume white wire is ground? - Should I get a certain signal/voltage from yellow wire on connector coming out of timer(Timer #380126C, Model #M520)? What can I do to test to see if it is the timer, or needs a new yellow wire run from timer to agitator solenoid? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Ken KenBradley(at)yahoo(dot)com

There is a plug behind the control panel on the top of the frame, test between the yellow wire and white wire during agitate, no 115 volts verifies a bad timer.
