I just had my washer and dryer relocated to another part of my house and now it's giving trouble. 1st the belt broke, which I had replaced, but now the dryer shuts off after about 15 seconds and I flip the breaker on and off to get it to come on, but it does the same thing. Any ideas? It worked perfectly before...is my contractor to blame??? Is it worth fixing or should I just buy a new one?

Provided you installed the belt properly, you most likely have a bad motor. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
