For the past few days we have been having a problem with our dryer drying a load of laundry. It is less than a year old & we just don't know if it's the heating element or something else? If anyone knows what this might be - please let us know. Thanks.
Thanks, David & Chelsie Hohenfeldt

Disconnect the unit from the vent. Do a load and see if it now runs OK. If OK, then it is your vent system If NG then I would call the place you bought it, it should be under warranty.
If you do not want lint in the house, take a pair of pantyhose, put one leg into the other and attach this to the dryers output. Leave enough room behind the unit so it can blow out like a windsock. This will also let you check heat and air flow output.
One more thing to check would be your lint screen especially if you use liquid fabric softener. It can coat the screen and drastically reduce air flow. |
