Hello, i came back to the washer after what should have been a complete wash and the green light was blinking on the front... searched these forums, and did the heatdry-normalwash-heatdry-normalwash-heatdry-normalwash button presses until all the lights came on. closed the door, let it run for a few min. opened. hit cancel. no lights. closed door. let sit few min. opened. set it for just normalwash - no other options. it started right up filling with water. after filling, pause, and then a slight humm for a few seconds (3-5sec maybe). hum stopped, maybe 30 sec later hummed again and stopped again. stupid me walked away to check the postings again, came back 5-15 min later and the green light was flashing again. thoughts? is it a blown or stuck motor? how can i check this? other ideas?

the float floats, and the bars turn. when i run with heat settings, it takes a bit but it seems the water does get up to temp - very steamy. The cancel/drain function works.

thanks in advance.

I posted this in another thread it does sound like a motor

You need to remove the lower spray arm Then the internal feed tube cap keep pressure on the feed tube and the white cap will flex off as you twist it out of the locking jaws, then remove the #15 torx screws from the accumulator, Now you are inside the sump remove the inlet protector There will be 1 or 2 more torx screws there's your chopper blade try not to disturb that they are tricky getting back in but clean the screen with a shop vac if there is anything in it it will be there clean everything and put back together in reverse order If there was nothing there you will need a new motor and chopper assy
