Whirlpool/ Kitchenaid KUDS01FLSS3
See a lot of useful info here but now I am stuck. Pump and motor were making horrendous noise like they were about to croak. Went through the agony of tearing out the old pump assembly and replacing with a new one. Now my problem is the old thermister is too small for the new pump fitting. Newer thermister must be larger. Anyone have the correct part number for this? Also, there is a blue tranformer looking thingy which I am assuming is the drain solenoid(??), the two wires (one gray and one blue)became detached after pulling the motor. How do I know which wire goes on which terminal? Many Thanks!

The part number for the thermistor (#25 on the break down diagram) has never been changed which means Whirlpool always used the same one.

There is no drain solenoid in this dishwasher. Can you refer to this part using a number form the break down diagrams?

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KUDS01FLSS3
