Our unit will not wash with hot water, nor does it get hot when it's supposed to dry. Is this one in the same part? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are your parts

It could be the heating element is shot.

Remove power from the unit, disconnect the wire to one side of the heating element and measure it with a meter.
Should be around 20 ohms.
You may have to pull the unit to get at the connections.

I did not see a limit thermostat in the parts.
If there is one it will be attached to the bottom of the tub and one wire from the heating element will go to it.
If there is one it should measure 0 ohms.
