I am trying to replace the belt in my dryer. I need a diagram that shows how to get to the belt and replace it.

You need to slide a putty knife under the top on the right side, about three inches from the end, and you will hit a clip that will release the top. Then do the same on the other side. Once you have released the top, move it back and rest it on the back wall. Of course before we start this process, you will unplug the dryer. Then look inside the front, about 6 inches down on the right and left side there will be a 1/4 inch screw, remove them, and take the door switch wires off, and then remove the front. Put the belt around the drum, rib side down, and then reach into the back, and slip the belt around the motor pully, and then with your other had push the idler pully, against the spring tention, and put the belt around the idler pully. I could not find a picture. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
