We have a side by side Kitchen Aid and we cannot get the ice maker to work.
A repair man had to change the relay switch last week when the freezer was not working at all and now we have the freezer working but not ice.
I took some tape off if the little panel on the left and the red LED light is flashing ar a blink, blink pause blink, blink pause rate.
Any suggestions?

Here is the way to diagnose the icemaker. Open the freezer door, and look up at the icemaker, and the fingers, that knock the ice out should be looking at you. If not replace the motor module on the icemaker. If that is good, look at the black tube, that drops the water into the icemaker, and squeeze it. If it is hard, it is frozen. If so defrost it, and you will have to change the water valve on the icemaker, because a small amount of water is leaking through and freezing up. If all is well there. Replace the emitter kit.
