I had to take apart the washer spinner assembly in the bottom. Cleaned out a lot of debris. Cleaned off the filter screen (Looks like a collar). Reassembled and the spinner won't spin freely. Saw these two plastic split washers along the way. Don't know if they are seated or placed right. Need assembly instructions to get it right.

Greg,

Actually, it sounds like you have something installed wrong.
the two snap rings attach, or sit in the groove at the top of the basckflush arm,and underneath the pump cover.

Part number: AP4111379
Part number: AP4111379

Part number: AP4114148
Part number: AP4114148

And the split in the rings should oppose each other.

Make sure the pump cover is not over tightenned, and the micro mesh filter is seated in the groove on the pump plate and seats in the groove of the bottom side of the pump cover.

If you've got everything installed properly, you should be able to spin the top of the backflush arm rather easily, with little to no drag.

Good Luck,
