My washer has no power. There is power at the wall socket and I have traced it all the way to the control board sensor where there is power. I replaced the door switch with no luck. The water supply is on. I don't have the wiring diagram so I'm not sure if there are seperate points of power to the control board or not. Could the control board sensor itself be bad?

Check for good connections at the water valve. Check the connections on the control board connectors CN5 and CN6.

Thanks for the response magician59. When you said good connections at the water valve did you mean the input water connections themselves or the electrical connections to the water input solenoids in the machine?

Actually, both. You want to be sure the sensor connections are good, as well as the electrical connections. It would be a shame to drop a couple C notes on a board, only to find a loose connection. If you find all is well with the connections, I have a manual for the machine. It's too big to post on the forum; but I can email it to you.

Thanks, magician59 a manual would be greatly appreciated. I hope it includes wiring diagrams so I can attempt to trace the sensor connections. My e-mail address is d.portillo1@samsung.com
