I have a KitchenAid dishwasher that is leaving a puddle of water on the floor. I removed the motor cover and noticed that it is leaking around the motor and there is some soap corrosion around the housing. I think the pump/motor gasket needs replacing. Is this gasket removed from inside the washer or does the pump/motor need to be removed from the bottom?

It comes apart from the inside you need an impellar seal kit comes with wash/drain impellars chopper blade, pump seal and a couple o-rings. if you want to replace the whole pump assy then you release the tabs and push it up to the inside
