Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/16/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		My dishwasher will not start.. The only button that will light up is the heavy load and when you puch start it just goes off. Then if you press start without pressing heavy first it will automatically drain. I really need some ideas on why this is not working.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 8/16/2007(UTC) Posts: 3,273		First place to start looking is the power to the unit. Make sure the circuit is 20 Amps. Check the integrity of the electrical connections to the dishwasher. See if you're getting 120VAC to the door switch. Check to see if you're getting 120VAC to the control board. Let us know what you find.
