I have a GE XL44 model# JGBS22BEA3WH. The burners up top work fine but the oven wont light.
When I turn the oven knob the heating element lights up, but no gas I don’t hear anything or smell anything. I took it apart and identified two components I think could be broke (I could be wrong) the Oven Thermostat or the Oven safety valve but I don’t know how to trouble shoot from here. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your problem is most likely the glow bar (ignitor) You can measure the resistance, should be between 50-150 ohms. Here is that part---->Part Details - GE Igniter, oven, part number: WB13K21
