 Dishwasher won't drain at end of cycle. Installed new drain pump, voltage verified @ 118v to pump wires. Pump runs, and partially drains thru-out cycle, but leaves a couple of inches of dirty water in the bottom after all cycles completed. drain hose not plugged or kinked. when drain hose is run into a bucket, very little pump pressure present. Entire wash&rinse cyles completed, only @ 1 gallon of water in bucket.

KDC,

Did you remove and check, clean the two filter plates in the bottom of the tub, under the spray arm ?

Part number: AP3185355
Part number: AP3185355

Part number: AP4374871
Part number: AP4374871

Did you check the pump sump for crud or debris in the sump housing ?

Part number: AP3875613
Part number: AP3875613

And you're sure you orderred the correct drain pump assembly

Part number: AP3872950
Part number: AP3872950

And you checked the connecting hose assembly for debris ?

There's not much left after these checks and repairs, other than a clogged, twisted, kinked drain hose.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)

Pulled it all back apart, found a paper label blocking the drain back "flapper" (red rubber), between the rubber housing and the drain pump/solenoid assembly. removed label, all working good now. Thank you!
