Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/14/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a Roper dryer, I have replaced the belt (although the old was not broken) but the dryer will heat up (even with the door open) but the drum does not turn. Why?:(

Why?:( Pull the element and see if it is broken and hitting the metal case. If not, the motor switch is shorted, and the whole motor will need to be replaced.
