I have a Kenmore Elite washer model # 110.230321102.makes a grinding noise will not agitate or spin. sounds like the motor is working.any ideas on how to repair this concern? Thanks

It is your coupler. Here is a step by step for your repair. How to Replace Whirlpool Washer Couplers

Thanks kayakcrzy, I laid the washer on it's back and i could see the coupler broken. i also notice oil on the floor and on motor near coupler. is this normal when coupler goes bad or do i have another problem?
