Originally the the exterior water dispenser stopped working and liquids were freezing in refrigerator compartment. We troubleshooted everything including temp and water filter. When we turned of icemaker freezing problem stopped but when icemaker turned back on no ice. It has been suggested that I check solenoid behind icemaker but I cant get the damn thing out. There is a tab on the left and I've removed three screws from underneath but something is still holding it in place.

To remove the icemaker:
1. Depress the tab holding the (wiring) harness cover and slide cover forward.
(If the tab breaks, a hole is provided for the installation of a screw.)
2. Disconnect the harness
3. Release tab on left front of icemaker and slide icemaker forward.

It will be to the left, at the top of the icemaker compartment.
