My Sears/Roper oven gets an F2 error while cleaning. I have to trip the breaker and let it cool down to regain control. I have tried to look it up and think it is a high temperature sensor issue.

Where is this sensor? Is it the probe in the upper back wall? Do I have to remove the oven from the wall to disconnect it and test it?

I cannot find a high temperature sensor listed on the Sears Parts web site for this model number.

If this error code comes up only during a self clean then the problem is a bad control board.

- The part number for the control board is AP3141629
