washer seems to be touching the bottom of housing and is scrapping when washing and spinning. What is wrong with it and is it best to replace or fix. NO warrenty

First check for something stuck thru the inner tub (nail or something) that could be rubbing the outer tub. A flash light helps. Look in every hole.
