My ge refrigerator is not cooling. the compressor is not coming on. I've checked it with the unit plugged in and there is no power coming to the compressor. The evaporator and the condenser fan are both coming on. I believe that it is the main control board but i don't have a schematic. anyone out there that can give me some advice

It's the main control board, located at the back of the box behing a cover. take it out and look at the back of the board, chances are behind the big black relay, there is a burn mark. If the burn mark is not too bad, you can resolder it, if you can't resolder it, you will need a new board. Part# WR55x10552
