Everytime I close the door to my dishwasher it turns it's self on. It seem to just keep running as long as the door is shut. It will not let me cancel the cycle and start over. Do you think my control board is shot?

Here are your parts Replacement parts for JENN-AIR JDB1090AWS Dishwasher - Undercounter | AppliancePartsPros.comYes it could be the control board. Since the unit does not advance through the cycles this is at the top of the list. Also could be the control panel (keypad), though usually the control board monitors for stuck keys and will flash an indicator light. I would open up the door and disconnect the keypad' Then reassemble and see if it still starts on it's own. If yes, then I would replace the control board. Still a bit of a crap shoot but your odds are better. Also have you tried removing power from the unit for 5 minutes or so to see if it will reset? |
