My neighbor's gas oven will not light (the stovetop burners do light). My guess is a bad igniter (it glows orange,never yellow or white). I'd like to test it before I replace it,but don't know what resistance to look for, or what other tests to perform.

if its round about 2.5 amps if its flat 3.2 amps give or take it usually will just glow red hot
