I replaced the ice maker water valve part # AP4298908 one month ago. I have since had to replace the water line from the valve to the ice maker. Since the new valve has push connections instead of compression fittings I am in need of a new internal push compression fitting. Is this part available, I hate to have to trash a one month old valve just because the mfg changed designs.

If I'm reading this right, all you have to do is 'push' in the new compression fitting around the neck of the tubing as it enters the valve and the old tubing should release from the valve with some persuasive pulling.. I once thought these new 'push in' type fittings were real neat until I started seeing many plastic ones cracking... The brass ones are durable but I'm not a fan of the plastic ones... Good luck with this one.. kooler
