My beloved Bosch SHE66C stopped when we had a power surge. The surge happened during a thunder and lightning storm. It will not restart. There is verified power to the unit but nothing happens. No lights. No nothing. I saw the sticky troubleshooting manual, but it isn't for our model. DH is very handy, just needs some ideas of what to check.

My initial gut feeling was this was one of those times when a power surge actually might have fried the appliance :(

I forgot to mention that we saw the dishwasher leaking earlier. We figured we would get to the problem later. Then the power surge and then ZAP! It looks like the LCD (from on top) is definitely fried. There is water in the area as well.I guess we'll try to replace this first- after it gets all dried out!
