When starting bake or broil, will run for about 10 secs then shuts off. heating elements are waqrm when it shuts off. sounds like thermostat to me but would like confirmation.

First, check the outlet to make sure you are gettting 240VAC.
Set a temperature again, and watch for it to turn off the elements. Listen carefully for the clicking of relays, after the elements turn off (ten minutes should suffice). Tell us if you hear this clicking.

Tell us if you hear this clicking. Outlet is good. Stovetop burners work normally. I originally gave bad info. The oven elements do not heat up during the 10 wecs before the oven display shuts off. A clicking sound is NOT heard after ther oven display turns off.

Do you have a meter? Can you do some electrical tests?

See if you're getting 120VAC to the control board.
Set the oven to BAKE at 350 degrees. See if you're getting 240VAC to each of the elements.

When I look at the boards from the baqckside of the oven, the smaller board on the righr (smaller board) has black, white andgreen wires connecting on the right sid of the board. There is 123 VACV between the white and black ones. On the bottom right of the board there are two blaqk plastic boxes. One has a yellow and a black wire. There is one VAC across these when the oven is set at 350. The other has a red wire and a black wire (common to both boxes) and there is one VAC across these when the oven is set to 350. I assume these boxes feed the oven elements, but I could be wrong about that. Thanks for your assistance thus far.

Those little black boxes are the relays to the elements. Can you locate the wires on the back of the range that connect to the elements? Try seeing what you get at those terminals. I suspect we'll find out that your main control board (not the one with the relays) is at fault.

The terminals are the ones I said had ine VAC across then when the oven (or broiler) are set to 350F.

Go back to the relay board and see if the transformer on the boare is receiving 120VAC from the main control. If it is, replace the relay board. If it isn't, replace the main control board.
