Problem description:
(1) washer fills tub initially; washes clothes; no leaks.
(2) water begins to drain after wash; tub begins to spin.
(3) rinse water starts to come in; leak begins.
(4) leak “appears” to be at front of machine (most visible / heavy leak).

Q1) Any idea of a possible problem ?

Q2) If possible problem has to do with part: Gasket Tub:
(Q2a) will major pieces need to be removed ? Agitator Asm; Basket Asm; Tub Asm;
(Q2b) will special tools be needed for this ?

Q3) In searching database for past problems, found how to release two front clamps to raise front of top panel.
(Q3a) are there more clamps to remove before top panel is clear ?
(Q3b) must I remove backsplash before top panel is clear ?
(Q3c) can backsplash be removed as “one piece” ?

Q4) In searching database for past problems, saw many discussions on “removing the front panel” on other models. The outer case for this machine seems to be one piece for at least 3 sides. Must I remove screws/etc on the back panel to remove the outer case ?

Q5) Is this type of repair something a “true novice” should try ? Never worked on a washing machine before.
What are the “real” chances that this fix will work ?
Is the effort worth it for something 15-20 years old ?
Might other parts be close to failing ?

I would say that one of the recirculating hoses has a hole in it. Which is # 828 & 829 on the picture breakdown Model WLW2500BBL.
