Hello. I have a problem with a kenmore electric dryer. The model is: 417.80042990. This on top of a washing machine but is completely independent. The problem is not as warm as before. It takes too long to dry clothes. I opened the dryer and the Heating Element (Part # 131553900) is not broken. The test and has continuity. Testing the Thermal Light (Part # 134120900) and has continuity. High Limit Thermostat Test (part # 3204267) and has continuity. None of the sensor is broken. </SPAN>The air outlet of the back of the watch also. And this clean. No obstruction by dirt. Watch the control panel and nothing is burned. I only see a card that does not, that is. Which is not its function, (Moisture sensor control board Part # 134216300). All too warm, just not as hot as before. The only odd thing that happened was that the power cord was accidentally pulled, breaking the Terminal Block, but do not think that is and issue, because since before the accident no longer warmed as before. Takes too long to dry clothes. Can not be. I need your help.

It can take too long because it is not heating sufficiently, or more likely the air is not freely circulating. Open it up and clean out the internal venting, for one this old it is likely clogged.
I would also replace the operating thermostat.
