My Range displays an error "F2 EO stuck key"
After looking up the error message online it tells me to "replace touch pad or clock assembly (also called ERC) or try to unstick botton if you can. Shorted keypad--Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock."
Another site states I should replace the keypad (also called the touch pad or membrane switch. Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
For my model number, is the keypad incorporated into the control board, thus having me replace both items, or can I just replace the ERC alone?
Is replacing the ERC easy enough that I can do myself or would it be wise to call a technician? Apparently the (ERC) will cost me about $172.00, so I can just imagine what labor and technician house visit will cost in addition to the part...these aren't good economic times

Microcomputer/control board AP3872569 Membrane switch AP3777757 You can check it your self if you have an ohm meter, if not call a Whirlpool certified tech to check it. I would check the ribbon connection first, if it's become corrodid or loose you could get an error code.
