Hello,
I've researched my problem as much as I can before posting and haven't been able to find the answer I'm looking for; I hope to find a solution with this thread.
I have a gas dryer that works except that it produces no heat. The heating element has power and glows, but gas is not released. I had the gas company verify that gas is being delivered to the appliance; the problem is within the dryer.
My research as well as a call to a local parts shop leads me to suspect a faulty thermal fuse. The problem is that this model does not appear to have one. I see no fuse anywhere in the dryer, and the schematics do not list one.
My best guess is that the problem is one of three parts:
(1) The flame sensor is not registering heat from the ignition element so is not allowing gas to enter the heater box.
(2) The thermostat or thermostat heater located next to the blower motor is faulty.
(3) The limit thermostat located on the heater box is faulty.
I'm hoping not to have to buy all of these parts and go through the process of elimination and hope that an expert can guide me to which is the most likely part.
Thank you!

If your igniter cycles on and off, but you get no flame, it's pretty likely to be bad ignition coils. Part number: AP3094251
