The drain trough under the defrost heater (part no. 622) has rusted through and defrost water is draining into the Refrigerator. After having removed items to get to the part, it is not readily apparent what I need to do to replace it. How do I replace the part?

I have the same problem, and would like to know how to get to the part to replace it. If putting in the new trough is complicated, I would like that procedure as well.

Replacing the drain trough is extremely difficult. It can be easily repaired by either using aluminum tape (used in duct work) to cover the rusted sections, or by using epoxy to seal the rusted through holes.
