I have a Whirlpool Duet electric dryer. My problem is that the dryer continues running after cycle is complete. I can take clothes out and shut door and it will start. There are no lights lit on the control panel and does not heat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a very similar situation. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
On mine you can press start on the control panel and select a cycle and it will start and heat, but if you push stop/ cancel twice all the lights on the control panel go off but the drum continues to turn. It will stop if you open the door.
I have tried turning the breaker off and waiting a couple of minutes, but it makes no change in the behavior.
Dryer is Whirlpool Duet Model # GEW9200LW0
Thanks for any replies.
