My Maytag gas dryer was started cycling the flame on and off and takes forever to dry a load of laundry.
I replaced the Thermastat in the flame tube (AP4045507), but that hasn't fixed the issue. I continuity checked everything else and all seems to be within spec.
The flame will turn on for 7-8 seconds and then shut off, It comes back on for another 7-8 second roughly a minute or so later.
I've taken the dryer almost completely appart and cleaned out everything as well.
Is there a way to adjust the flame? It looks like its making direct contact with the bottom of the sensor on the flame tube which is causing it to open quickly.
Any other suggestions I can try?

Any other suggestions I can try? S_mav, There is NO way to adjust the burner flame ! Have you tried running the dryer with the exhaust vent disconnected ? Your description is a perfect indication of improper air flow in the dryer, usually due to a clog in the venting system or the blower assembly. You could have a gas flow / pressure problem to the dryer, but not likely. Like I said before, try running the dryer with the vent disconnected at the wall, maybe even try to dry a load if you wish, and see what happens. Good Luck,
