Replaced the Amana (ACS3350AB) oven igniter 18 months ago with perfect results. Oven won't light again...so I once again replaced the igniter using great care to avoid touching critical part...no success...igniter does not glow or even begin to heat up...any suggestions on diagnosis and next steps? Just used voltage meter to check the connection for the igniter...turned oven to "bake" and no sign of juice coming from the connection...

Unplug the oven, and go down to the gas valve, and pull the wires off the gas valve, and see if you get a continuity reading. If not replace it. After that it would be the control. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
