Well so far I am out $70 for a repair tech to come out and tell me that my problem "may" stem from the electronic control board but wasn't 100% sure!!

My problem is this. My wife decided to wash our comforter in the washer and once the water soaked in the comforter was rather heavy. This tripped something in the washer and it will not drain. Now besides not draining, I switch the dial to all the different setting from drain/spin to normal to delicate and it will do nothing. The lights come on normal when you press the start button once like it should, but then when you press start the second time all I get is the door lock click and then a click of a relay towards the back and then nothing but a small humming noise??? I am not convinced that it is the electronic control board because it sounds like it is sending the relay signal that it needs to. Any chance it could be the motor control board? I just hate spending $150 on a new board and not have it be the problem!!!

Any help on this would be much appreciated. I have tried Frigidaire with no luck at all. They could not point me in the right direction if they had too!!

Thanks in advanced,

Pete

I just went up to do an alarm test and held down the start and cancel at the same time. What I found is all the lights will light up and beep once then the tower of lights(lock, drain,spin,etc..) will beep an additional 3 times. So start will beep and light once and the tower will beep and light 4 times.

Does this make sense??

Thanks,

Pete
