I have a Frigidaire whos lcd doesnt light. of u [ush the screen it will come on, The unit works just the lcd comes and goes. any thoughts/ is it the whole touchpad or something else

Most likely the problem is a bad control board. - The part number for the control board is AP3774430 Gene.

Thinks so?/ Hmmmm, even if the lcd lighs if you push in it. I was hoping it was the keypad. When I push the lcd it lights and flickers, sometimes it stays on.

The keypad is just a user interface, nothing else. The low voltage transformer is a part of the control board and, according to your description, there is a problem with the power source for the LCD.
