Thought I might need to buy new elements, but then thought it odd that they would both stop at the same time. Stovetop works perfectly, no problem. I've been told that I need to buy a new control board / clock? Costs a bit more than I have...so just wondering if there is anything else I can do....replace wiring...something? Thanks for your help!

If there is nothing wrong then the control board (aka a clock) has to be replaced. - The part number for the clock is AP3586196 In case you would not be able to use the old overlay, the part number for the overlay is AP2126496.
