Just recently the refridgerator started freezing anything placed in the bottom two drawers. At the same time, the ice maker slowed down the making of ice cubes. It still makes ice but at a much slower rate. Please let me know if these symptoms can diagnose a repair.

This sounds like an air flow problem. Open the freezer and confirm the evaporator fan is running (It should be running along with the compressor and condensor fan.). If it is, check to make sure there is nothing blocking the damper and the return air duct (which is on the wall next to the crisper drawers).

Where is the evaporater fan located so I can distinguish it from the compressor and condensor fan? There is nothing on the bottom shelves by the crisper drawers in the refridgerator so it is not blocked. Should I feel air flow through the damper? Is the return air duct in the same location as the damper? Thank you

The evaporator fan is in the freezer compartment. You'll be able to hear it running, as long as the unit is not in defrost mode. The condensor fan is located in the same compartment as the compressor. It normally can't be heard running, and you need to check it visually. Both of these fans are supposed to be running whenever the compressor is running. It is possible, I suppose, for the return duct to be in the same enclosure as the damper. You should feel a fairly strong air movement through the damper, when the unit is in the cooling mode. While you're checking the condenser fan, note (and clean away) any dust and lint on the condenser coil. A clean coil can make your refrigerator more effficient. A dirty condenser will shorten the life of your compressor.
