Do I need to use an adhesive in addition to replacing the retaining screws when replacing the refrigerator and freezer door gaskets?
Thanks for your response.

No adhesive is required. Just use the screws. Be sure to follow the directions that come with the seal. Although it seems very simple, gasket replacement is more difficult to get right than it appears. Sometimes a blow dryer helps to remove the wrinkles and help the seal to adjust correctly. Don't remove the old gasket all at once: Remove ablut a quarter of the screws at a time, and install the new gasket as you work your way around the door.
