What is the best way to fill and seal a hole in the bottom of a dishwasher tub? The heating element snapped in half and burnt a small hole in the bottom. I'd like something that is obviously non-toxic. Any ideas? Please help!

The best way is to replace the tub.
Check with your warranty. The tub may have a ten year warranty.

Well, it's the dishwasher that came with the house that we bought 1 1/2 years ago (dishwasher is only 3 years old) so we don't have the warranty. The hole is only pin size, extremely small, so I'd hate to spend 200+ on a tub when I can just seal it. I'm wondering if there is some kind of epoxy that would work...

For a hole, I would get a screw and nut with a rubber washer and just screw it in and put the nut on the bottom. Probably need to pull dishwasher to do this. Make sure the screw is a good quality chrome one.
