According to the tech sheets, the "F2-E1" error code means "Cancel key invalid" and the correction is "Surface cleaning". Why did you decide to replace the display control board?

I changed board because when I removed power from board for about 5 min. it would start back to cooking, but the buttons on right side would not work, this has been goig on for 4 or 5 months. the wife is telling me to repair or replace. I have not been able to get access so far to a service manual.....larry griggs

I've had pretty good success doing this unplug the ribbon from the control unit and take just an ordinary pencil eraser and clean the end of the ribbon with the eraser plug it back in see if that helps if thats the style of ribbon connector you have in other words it wouldn't have a plastic end on it just a bare ribbon
