How can I confirm what the problem is ?? How difficult is it to fix ?? Is there an on-line source for step by step instructions/diagrams ?? thanks for your help...

At 150 degree differece it will be the clock control board. If the sensor was the problem, you would either get a code, or the temp would be off, 50 degrees the max. Put the unit on broil to see if it works. Put the unit into bake to see if the bake element will come on. Note: Many units switch between the bake and broil elements when in the bake mode so you may have to watch for a while. [COLOR="Blue"]How can I confirm what the problem is ??[/COLOR] If you suspect an element. Unplug the unit, undo the screw holding it to the back of the oven and gently pull it forward. Remove the wires to it and measure it with a meter, most are around 20 ohms. It is not a bad idea to clip something to the wires (clothespin etc. so they do not disappear into the back of the oven. Be sure to remove power from the unit as on many units one side of the element is live even with the element turned off. [COLOR="Blue"] How difficult is it to fix ??[/COLOR] Depends what it turns out to be. [COLOR="Blue"]Is there an on-line source for step by step instructions/diagrams ??[/COLOR] It is a GE and they like to keep everything a secret.
