My oven has a timer on it that is not buzzing, but making a slight humming noise. My oven light does not come on when I try to turn on the oven, nor does my oven even work. Is there an easy fix to this?

Before we get too far along in this, we're going to need a model number to help you diagnose and fix your oven. However, you can start by checking the power at the outlet. If it's electric, you need 240VAC at the outlet. If it is a gas oven, look for 120VAC, with the correct polarity (hot, neutral, and ground in the right spots.).
