Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Hard to say because I really don't know what a "spring" noise means. You can try replacing the timer and see if that fixes things. If the machine is less than one year old then it should be under factory warranty.
