On Perm Press and Delicate My washer skips second wash/agitate cycle. After first fill/agitate/ drain/spin,the washer refills does not agitate but timer continues normally to final drain/spin. Normal cycle same except does not proceed to the final drain/spin. I have to manually move the dial to another spin cyce. I believe this model has a two-speed motor. Can one speed go bad ? Is it a timer issue ?

Sounds like a bad timer.

If the machine spins and agitates, even in different cycles, the motor is good. It sounds by your description of the problem like you have a bad timer.
