When I set the oven temp to 425, the oven starts to heat up and then beeps ready, but the temp is only 250 and it won't go any higher unless I set the temp to 550, then it reaches 550+.
It's impossible to get the temp to maintain anywhere between 300-450 and therefore requires constant monitoring and adjusting of the oven temp while baking.
Help!

Help! Your ignitor is bad. Replace the ignitor and it should work as good as new.

Hi Barb, Pull the range out. Remove the back cover and measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor where it plugs into the control board. Normally it suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature. If the reading is wrong then replace the oven temperature sensor. If the reading is correct then replace the Electronic Range Control (ERC). - The part number for the oven temperature sensor is AP2023670 - The part number for the ERC is AP2632694 Gene.
