Our microwave oven stopped working this afternoon. The display pad is still lighted and responds to pressing the buttons, for example pressing one minute starts the one minute heating cycle and countdown.

However, the light remains off whe opening the door and during the cycle, the turntable fails to spin and there is no heating.

I am likely to end up calling for support, as I do not know that I actually want to do this myself. But I would like to know what the problem is, how much the parts are and what the general cost will be to make a decision whether it will be worth it to fix, or wheter it might be more worthwile to replace. I hate to do this, cince the whole thing is new and was replaced during a kitchen remodel not too long ago.

Thanks.

Never mind.

Resetting for 2 minutes did the trick. The oven is working again.
