The reason I brought it up is:(and this was several years ago) it bit me in the you know what after two board replacements and heaters and it still frosted up at that point I was at my witts end until in dawned on me to try the thermistors ge has a big of problem with their thermistors that they do their heaters lol When I do a thermistor replacement I always without fail do all three I will also mention that the only role the evap thermistor has is for the defrost and has nothing to do with the freezer temp, the other thermistor in the freezer plays that role

I have a quick question on using the jumpers on the main board. I know I need to set the jumper from J9 to J11 but what is the best way to do this. Can I just jump it with a peice of 10g wire? Also, how long should it take for the heater to actually warm up? Thanks

Go to radio shack and get some aligator clips and crimp one on each end of the 10 gage wire and you'll have a jumper cord
