Hey everyone.

I just replaced the oven ignitor norton 501-a as my oven was not heating up, i put in a GE WB2X9998 ignitor. Glows great, burner kicks in quick. Just made some stuffed shells and at 400 degrees for 45 minutes I noticed the burner did not go off at all. The controls turn on/off the ignitor properly.

Any ideas on what to check... thermo? valve? The oven operated just fine when I bought this house 4 months ago. Do ignitors and valves fail together?

thank in advance!
